Saturdays are free days here at EAC, and a few of us decided to go white-water rafting at Jinja, the source of the Nile. We work hard during the week and played hard on this Saturday.
The Nile sports class-5 rapids (actually a few class 6 but we avoided those)...and is supposed to be one of the best places to white-water raft in the world. We chose the "Extreme" boat....30km of class 5, 4, 3, and 2 rapids. The trip took all day....we had hours of fun but also a lot of paddling...... Coupled with the 3 days of homebuilding and the long run James and I had on Friday, i was exhausted at the end of the day...and still recovering.
Carol did not raft and took a few pics of the team going down one of the rapids.....also, i have a waterproof camera and snapped a few pics as well....
In addition, James and I bungee jumped...it was a 50m descent....Carol managed to capture it all on her camera! so, now there is actual evidence. see the link below!
